Camborne City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, one of New Cross City:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Camborne City a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Redouane Maâti, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of New Cross City's Djabir Ramdane. 1-1. Abdelfattah Zian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Youcef Akrour read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Abdelfattah Zian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Youcef Akrour having to interfere. Camborne City's Djallel Arouani got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Youcef Akrour showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdelfattah Zian, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. A collision led to New Cross City getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Mamaar Hanous hit a great ball. In the 35th minute Redouane Maâti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Djabir Ramdane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, Bouzid Larbi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Djallel Arouani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Djallel Arouani made a kick off. The long shot by Rabia Berradja in the 52nd minute really tested Youcef Akrour's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With a little luck, Camborne City's Youcef Akrour got control of the ball when Abdelfattah Zian tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Camborne City's goalkeeper Youcef Akrour, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, New Cross City's Badda Benali got a free kick in the 77th minute. After 81 played minutes New Cross City got a freekick which was hit by Djamil Hanister. Camborne City's Redouane Maâti couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for New Cross City. When Camborne City's Akziz Tlemcani in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
