With an extended leg and a bit of luck Djallel Cohen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Farès Baïri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Jahid Hanous tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Poulton-Le-Fylde's zone, Thelma Driouche stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Djallel Cohen came out of the goal and Thelma Driouche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Farès Baïri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jahid Hanous was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. After 21 minutes of play, Manor Park AFC's Thelma Driouche made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Djallel Cohen was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28th minute Tayeb Khaled shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jahid Hanous saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Poulton-Le-Fylde booed when Manor Park AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thelma Driouche didn't get a good kick on the ball. Poulton-Le-Fylde's Farès Baïri got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manor Park AFC's Jahid Hanous played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tayeb Khaled in the 41st minute of play. In the 44th minute, Tayeb Khaled left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Poulton-Le-Fylde fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Manor Park AFC's Jahid Hanous played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tayeb Khaled in the 72nd minute of play. Yanis Boulebda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Farès Baïri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fahim Merniz in the 79th minute of play forced Poulton-Le-Fylde's goalkeeper Djallel Cohen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Tayeb Khaled recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jahid Hanous. Jahid Hanous breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Manor Park AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Poulton-Le-Fylde were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
