In the 38th minute of the match, Afaghis Guergour tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mohamed Guellil saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Afaghis Guergour made a kick off. Mesbah Belbey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Rachid Zenia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdelmalek Zaaf charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Brahim Kermali managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hextable's supporters rose to their feet, but Brahim Kermali was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rachid Zenia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mesbah Belbey ran back to his position shaking his head. Ramdane Kerbouche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mohamed Guellil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afaghis Guergour, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ramdane Kerbouche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hextable walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
