With a little luck, Rawmarsh's Hatim Belkheir got control of the ball when Dida Ghazi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kylian Beaufort showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Madani Mohamed, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 30th minute, Chams Ramdane ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hatim Belkheir was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Dida Ghazi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hatim Belkheir came out and tried to block the shot, but Dida Ghazi slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 37th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Madani Mohamed notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Liversedge City's Kylian Beaufort. Kylian Beaufort was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dida Ghazi to make the kick off. Dida Ghazi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hatim Belkheir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chams Ramdane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hatim Belkheir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chams Ramdane, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The supporters of Rawmarsh booed when Liversedge City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lounes Zemirli didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute, Adan El Ouazzani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Chams Ramdane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Madani Mohamed in the 69th minute of play forced Liversedge City's goalkeeper Kylian Beaufort to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Chams Ramdane managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liversedge City's supporters rose to their feet, but Chams Ramdane was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hatim Belkheir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Liversedge City's Chams Ramdane got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 77thth minute of the game Chams Ramdane who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rawmarsh's Hatim Belkheir was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Abdelnacer Bouzid fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rawmarsh's protests and gave Abdelnacer Bouzid a yellow card for diving instead. Chams Ramdane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Hatim Belkheir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hatim Belkheir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dida Ghazi in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute of the game, Lounes Zemirli landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Abdelnacer Bouzid kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Kylian Beaufort showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Madani Mohamed in the 87th minute of the match. Chams Ramdane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hatim Belkheir having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Liversedge City's goalkeeper Kylian Beaufort had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adan El Ouazzani. After having played for 95 minutes, Adan El Ouazzani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rawmarsh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adan El Ouazzani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rawmarsh's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
