Chams Hanoune showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dida Ghazi in the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Chams Ramdane got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raouf Benyagoub's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kylian Beaufort read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. The referee ignored New Brighton's protests and gave Aydril Oulhaci a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd match minute, New Brighton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aydril Oulhaci to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Liversedge City's Rayan Bougherra tried to score from far away in the 30th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Dida Ghazi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chams Ramdane struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Chams Hanoune didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liversedge City. The supporters of Liversedge City booed when New Brighton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aydril Oulhaci didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 37 minutes, Mekki Chadli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the New Brighton and the Liversedge City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mekki Chadli kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bachir Zarabi to strike the kick off in the second half. If Bachir Zarabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute Bachir Zarabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kylian Beaufort saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, New Brighton's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Chams Ramdane fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Lakhdar Otman hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, New Brighton's goal looked a bit too open when Dida Ghazi came free, but Chams Hanoune reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raouf Benyagoub received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Kylian Beaufort tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, New Brighton could leave the field as winners, despite Liversedge City having more of the ball for most of the match.
