Ahaszzi Yenicheri didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Idir Nima in the 12th minute of play forced Codicote's goalkeeper Raïd Cherif to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Ramzi Benyamina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abdelhafid Cohen was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Raïd Cherif showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nacer Chebal, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 42 minutes into the game, Hamid Belloumi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Haverhill's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Codicote the free kick. A collision led to Haverhill getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Hamid Belloumi hit a great ball. After 43 minutes of play, Codicote's Rabah Merah made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abdelhafid Cohen was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Abdelhafid Cohen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramzi Benyamina in the 53rd minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Naïm Debbagh got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Abdelhafid Cohen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Rabah Merah put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Abdelhafid Cohen. If Rabah Merah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rabah Merah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Abdelhafid Cohen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rabah Merah might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abdelhafid Cohen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rabah Merah ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramzi Benyamina in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abdelhafid Cohen saved Haverhill from getting behind. Haverhill's Abdelhafid Cohen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramzi Benyamina in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute of the match Naïm Debbagh sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abdelhafid Cohen skillfully saved the ball. Haverhill's Abdelhafid Cohen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rabah Merah in the 83rd minute of play. Codicote's Raïd Cherif played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Idir Nima in the 85th minute of play.
