Abdeldjalil Hamruche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mourad Hamyane, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Marden's goalkeeper Abdelnasser Otman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chih Cherif. The supporters of Marden booed when Dunton Bassett United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bouabdellah Saâdani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lakhdar Boutella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Abdeldjalil Hamruche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mourad Hamyane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Bouabdellah Saâdani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abdelnasser Otman was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 35th minute, Nassim Metref hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdelnasser Otman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bouabdellah Saâdani in the 46th minute of play. Chih Cherif received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Abdelnasser Otman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Dunton Bassett United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Marden were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Bouabdellah Saâdani made the kick off in the second half. Dunton Bassett United's Bouabdellah Saâdani suffered a concussion after 51 minutes and had to leave the field. Fouad Difallah's late challenge caught a Dunton Bassett United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fouad Difallah helped the player get up and apologised. Fouad Difallah hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chih Cherif in the 54th minute of play forced Marden's goalkeeper Abdelnasser Otman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 58 minutes, Lakhdar Boutella managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marden's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lakhdar Boutella was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lakhdar Boutella blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abdeldjalil Hamruche having to make a save. Abdeldjalil Hamruche came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Marden's Chaba Saâdane. But to his dismay, Chaba Saâdane quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Lakhdar Boutella could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Abdeldjalil Hamruche made a huge save. If Achik Bitat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Salem Zaâmoum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marden's Abdelnasser Otman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chih Cherif in the 74th minute of play. Chih Cherif received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Abdelnasser Otman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Marden's goal looked a bit too open when Chih Cherif came free, but Abdelnasser Otman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mourad Hamyane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdeldjalil Hamruche having to interfere. Mourad Hamyane struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Abdeldjalil Hamruche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marden. With an all-out effort, Marden's Abdeldjalil Hamruche threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mourad Hamyane, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Abdeldjalil Hamruche had great luck who in the 90thth minute grab hold of the ball when Mourad Hamyane from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Mourad Hamyane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdeldjalil Hamruche having to interfere. In the 93rd match minute, Dunton Bassett United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hafid Lamine Kab to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Dunton Bassett United's zone, Mourad Hamyane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdeldjalil Hamruche came out of the goal and Mourad Hamyane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Marden had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
