Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Wymondham City's Bilal Bedroni started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Abdechahid Abdenouz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Merouane Fahima when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Walsall United's Merouane Fahima got control of the ball when Abdechahid Abdenouz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abdechahid Abdenouz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Merouane Fahima skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 16 minutes, Abdechahid Abdenouz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wymondham City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdechahid Abdenouz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bilal Bedroni in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Merouane Fahima saved Walsall United from getting behind. If Bilal Bedroni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sid Ahmed Embarek came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Walsall United's Chams Aziz. But to his dismay, Chams Aziz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Abdechahid Abdenouz might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Merouane Fahima. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abdechahid Abdenouz ran back to his position shaking his head. Bilal Bedroni was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 40th minute. Wymondham City's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 42nd minute Bilal Bedroni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Merouane Fahima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Abdelkader Mammeri made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Abdechahid Abdenouz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wymondham City's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdechahid Abdenouz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Merouane Fahima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Soltani Dahou hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Sid Ahmed Embarek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chams Aziz in the 60th minute. Chams Aziz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sid Ahmed Embarek having to make a save. In the 65th minute, Chams Aziz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lounès Zian kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Sid Ahmed Embarek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chams Aziz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bilal Bedroni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Merouane Fahima read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 87th minute Bilal Bedroni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Merouane Fahima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sid Ahmed Embarek made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Chams Aziz sent off a good shot on target. The Wymondham City supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Walsall United's performance. The match ended with a win for Walsall United.
