Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aras Madjer in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Madhi Mazi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kacem Bachtobji made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Lounes Ghennouchi sent off a good shot on target. Madhi Mazi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aras Madjer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Madhi Mazi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amattaken Mesbah in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Hichem Moll was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Algerie fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rye the free kick. Madhi Mazi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aras Madjer in the 19th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Amattaken Mesbah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Rye's zone, Lounes Ghennouchi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kacem Bachtobji came out of the goal and Lounes Ghennouchi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the match, Lounes Ghennouchi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kacem Bachtobji. Rye's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lounes Ghennouchi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Lounes Ghennouchi in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kacem Bachtobji, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lounes Ghennouchi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kacem Bachtobji read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. If Aras Madjer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lounes Ghennouchi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Rami Khadra fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rye's protests and gave Rami Khadra a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th minute, Rami Khadra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ajdir Moumen shot from long distance in the 46th minute, but Kacem Bachtobji was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. After a rather tough play, Rye's Redha Benzaghou got a free kick in the 47th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Lounes Ghennouchi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Algerie fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Lounes Ghennouchi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kacem Bachtobji breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aras Madjer made a kick off. Algerie fc's Lounes Ghennouchi got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rye's Rami Khadra got his second yellow card of the match in the 65th minute. The referee ordered Rami Khadra off the ground. Rami Khadra hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Amattaken Mesbah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Madhi Mazi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kacem Bachtobji didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Algerie fc. For all the effort they put into the match, the Rye players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Algerie fc.
