In the 17th minute, Djillali Bouziane made a precise shot to the right of Billel Zaâmoucha. Bermondsey's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. A hard shot 24 in the game by Abdallah Bentaala from a close distance when the talented Billel Zaâmoucha managed to make a qualified save. Bermondsey's players were relieved. After having played for 28 minutes, Makhlouf Amrouche managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ashton-under-Lyne United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Makhlouf Amrouche was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th match minute, Bermondsey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yannis Sifi to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes in the game, Makhlouf Amrouche fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Billel Zaâmoucha having to interfere. When Rachid Hanous fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bermondsey's protests and gave Rachid Hanous a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 played minutes Bermondsey got a freekick which was hit by Rachid Hanous. In the 38thth minute of the game Abdallah Bentaala who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bermondsey's Billel Zaâmoucha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Abdallah Bentaala could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Billel Zaâmoucha made a huge save.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Billel Zaâmoucha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 96 minutes into the match, Bermondsey's goal looked a bit too open when Abdallah Bentaala came free, but Billel Zaâmoucha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ashton-under-Lyne United had played much better football throughout.
