Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hamid Amara started the match with the kick off. The Deep Sea FC fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Deep Sea FC's Fouhad Boniche looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Deep Sea FC's Hikmet Amara got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Fouad Ouatah fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rugby's protests and gave Fouad Ouatah a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Deep Sea FC booed when Rugby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mokhtar Kahouadji didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hikmet Amara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ajdir Messaoudi having to interfere. After 51 minutes of play, Rugby's Mesbah Cherrad made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arsalane Abdelmoumene was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 54th minute, Fouhad Boniche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 55 played minutes Deep Sea FC got a freekick which was hit by Hosni Ziani. In the 60th minute, Mesbah Cherrad left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rugby fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The Rugby players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
