Spectators: 9715 (Terracing: 7000, Seating: 2499, VIP seats: 216) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hamid Amara kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute Mokhtar Kahouadji shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zahid Saïfi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th match minute, Rugby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mahmoud Rezzoug to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the match, Rugby's goalkeeper Ajdir Messaoudi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mareks Hamšík. Zahid Saïfi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamid Amara in the 10th minute of play. If Mareks Hamšík had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zahid Saïfi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamid Amara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amar Yahi hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute Mesbah Cherrad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zahid Saïfi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Newcastle booed when Rugby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mahmoud Rezzoug didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Mareks Hamšík recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ajdir Messaoudi. Mareks Hamšík showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 32 played minutes Rugby got a freekick which was hit by Mahmoud Rezzoug. Rugby's Ajdir Messaoudi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Rugby from getting a goal against them. Mareks Hamšík's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Ajdir Messaoudi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Zahid Saïfi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mesbah Cherrad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fouad Zerara kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mareks Hamšík to make the kick off. Amar Yahi's late challenge caught a Rugby's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amar Yahi helped the player get up and apologised. Amar Yahi hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Zahid Saïfi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Zahid Saïfi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamid Amara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 61 minutes of play Newcastle's Amar Yahi was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Newcastle's Amar Yahi got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute, Fouad Zerara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ajdir Messaoudi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After some careless play in the Rugby defense, Fouad Zerara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ajdir Messaoudi. The Rugby fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ajdir Messaoudi should have stopped the shot. After 75 played minutes Newcastle got a freekick which was hit by 叶潮凡. Fouad Ouatah kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After 92 played minutes Rugby got a freekick which was hit by Mahmoud Rezzoug. Zahid Saïfi came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Rugby's Hamid Amara. But to his dismay, Hamid Amara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, Newcastle could leave the field as winners, despite Rugby having more of the ball for most of the match.
