Custódio Malafaia hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, Howden United's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Fontão came free, but Simão Regalado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henrique Fontão in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Simão Regalado saved Howden United from getting behind. If Gregório Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Howden United's zone, Henrique Fontão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simão Regalado came out of the goal and Henrique Fontão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Simão Regalado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Bastos in the 51st minute. Peterlee's Gregório Sampaio got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Henrique Fontão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Simão Regalado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 58 minutes of play, Howden United's Heitor Areosa made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé Maurito was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Howden United's Simão Regalado got control of the ball when Henrique Fontão tried to sneak it across the goal line. Henrique Fontão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henrique Fontão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Simão Regalado made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gregório Sampaio in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simão Regalado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gregório Sampaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simão Regalado having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heitor Areosa in the 77th minute of play forced Peterlee's goalkeeper Zé Maurito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gregório Sampaio got free with Simão Regalado in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teta Teive during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th minute, Teta Teive hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute Luís Bouça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Maurito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diamantino Camarinha charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diamantino Camarinha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Diamantino Camarinha hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
