Spectators: 6946 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1946, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Afonso Meneses kicked off to start the match. If Avelino Fontão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Custódio Jacinto came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Evandro Mulenza FC's Avelino Fontão. But to his dismay, Avelino Fontão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Custódio Rochedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Meneses, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Custódio Rochedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Afonso Meneses went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Evandro Mulenza FC's Avelino Fontão got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Rayleigh City's Afonso Meneses slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Custódio Rochedo. That made the score 2-1 after 17 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Lima Clemente got free with Custódio Rochedo in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Custódio Rochedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Meneses in the 27th minute of play. With a little luck, Evandro Mulenza FC's Custódio Rochedo got control of the ball when Miguel Lima Clemente tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Avelino Fontão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. David Akwa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rolando Godinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 38th minute of the match, Afonso Meneses tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Custódio Rochedo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Afonso Meneses had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Avelino Fontão made a precise shot to the right of Custódio Jacinto. Rayleigh City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Avelino Fontão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Evandro Mulenza FC's Custódio Rochedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Meneses in the 53rd minute of play. Custódio Rochedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Ezequiel Niz in the 81st minute of the match. Custódio Rochedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Lima Clemente in the 84th minute of play. If David Akwa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Avelino Fontão was extremely unlucky when he, in the 90th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The crowd rose to their feet as Evandro Mulenza FC's Rolando Godinho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Custódio Jacinto. That made the score 3-3 after 92 minutes of play. 97 minutes into the match, Evandro Mulenza FC's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Meneses came free, but Custódio Rochedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rayleigh City succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Evandro Mulenza FC had controlled the match.
