A collision led to Soccer Sport Club getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Pedro Pegacho hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, Balduíno Pepetela had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rui Guedes. Barritos Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Balduíno Pepetela was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Rui Guedes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Balduíno Pepetela's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Rolando Maurito made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Rogério Areosa sent off a good shot on target. When Balduíno Pepetela came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Soccer Sport Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Balduíno Pepetela couldn't finish the play. Rui Guedes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Quim Lando's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Quim Lando in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rui Guedes saved Barritos Fc from getting behind. In the 37th minute, Fábio Samakuva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Balduíno Pepetela came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Soccer Sport Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Balduíno Pepetela couldn't finish the play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Quim Lando to make the kick off. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 76th minute Quim Lando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Barritos Fc's Paulo Varanda broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Balduíno Pepetela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Rui Guedes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rui Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quim Lando in the 83rd minute of the match. Barritos Fc's Rui Guedes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Barritos Fc from getting a goal against them. Rolando Maurito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Varanda in the 86th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Barritos Fc's goalkeeper Rui Guedes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Balduíno Pepetela. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Soccer Sport Club had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
