Ebley FC's Saúl Novais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avelino Fontão in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Zé Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

In the 57th minute Emílio Meneses shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Custódio Rochedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Avelino Fontão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saúl Novais having to interfere. Evandro Mulenza FC's Rolando Godinho got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hipólito Fonseca came free with the goalkeeper in the 63rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Custódio Rochedo could save by the left post. Saúl Novais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Godinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 83 minutes into the game, Neide Jacaré was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ebley FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Evandro Mulenza FC the free kick. Evandro Mulenza FC's David Akwa got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Although Evandro Mulenza FC had been in control for most of the match, Ebley FC still came away with the win.
