The Soccer Sport Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 9 played minutes Ebley FC got a freekick which was hit by Gregório Jacinto. Balduíno Pepetela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Quim Lando in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saúl Novais prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Saúl Novais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quim Lando, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Pedro Pegacho notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Ebley FC's Saúl Novais. Saúl Novais was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 23 minutes into the game, Balduíno Pepetela cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Saúl Novais was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Balduíno Pepetela managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soccer Sport Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Balduíno Pepetela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saúl Novais breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27th minute Quim Lando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saúl Novais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Maurito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hipólito Fonseca in the 34th minute. If Balduíno Pepetela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, Soccer Sport Club's Quim Lando sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Saúl Novais narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Diamantino Firmino's late challenge caught a Ebley FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diamantino Firmino helped the player get up and apologised. After 38 played minutes Soccer Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Diamantino Firmino. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Quim Lando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soccer Sport Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Quim Lando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emílio Meneses was the one to do the kick off. Flavio Jaka Jamba, 55 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ebley FC's Saúl Novais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quim Lando in the 58th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Balduíno Pepetela took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Saúl Novais to make any attempt to save it. Saúl Novais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quim Lando in the 64th minute of play. After 67 minutes, Balduíno Pepetela made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Ebley FC's Saúl Novais tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Saúl Novais made an important save on a dangerous shot by Balduíno Pepetela in the 71st minute. Ebley FC's Emílio Meneses got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Balduíno Pepetela took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Saúl Novais. Saúl Novais dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Viveque Mendes charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Viveque Mendes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 84th match minute, Ebley FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viveque Mendes to maneuver through the defense. Diamantino Firmino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Soccer Sport Club getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Pedro Pegacho hit a great ball. 92 minutes in the game, Emílio Meneses dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The Ebley FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Soccer Sport Club were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
