An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogério Areosa in the 9th minute of play forced Rayleigh City's goalkeeper Custódio Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Lima Clemente hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. The supporters of Barritos Fc booed when Rayleigh City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Ezequiel Niz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute, Rogério Areosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Custódio Jacinto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After a rather tough play, Barritos Fc's Fábio Samakuva got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 67 minutes into the match, Rayleigh City's goalkeeper Custódio Jacinto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rogério Areosa. A collision led to Rayleigh City getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Afonso Ezequiel Niz hit a great ball. Barritos Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Varanda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulo Varanda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Custódio Jacinto having to interfere. Rayleigh City's Custódio Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Varanda in the 82nd minute of play. The goalkeeper, Custódio Jacinto, was totally fooled by Barritos Fc's Nuno Caneças, who 85 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Evaristo Matta charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evaristo Matta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
