Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 23 minutes into the match, Hove AFC's goalkeeper Alda De Matos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lourenço Lourenço. A hard shot 28 in the game by Lourenço Lourenço from a close distance when the talented Alda De Matos managed to make a qualified save. Hove AFC's players were relieved. In the 34th minute, Lourenço Lourenço made a precise shot to the right of Alda De Matos. Hove AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albertino Simões in the 41st minute of play forced Hove AFC's goalkeeper Alda De Matos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Akwa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Lima Clemente having to interfere. Vítor Rebello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Lima Clemente having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albertino Simões in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alda De Matos saved Hove AFC from getting behind. Paulo Akwa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 83 minutes, Albertino Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Otterham AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albertino Simões was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulo Akwa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Lima Clemente having to interfere. Albertino Simões recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodrigo Matta kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
