Hélio Malheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélio Teive in the 45th minute of play. Zé Teive received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Hernani Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hélio Teive to strike the kick off in the second half. Gildo Paes might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hernani Cunha . Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gildo Paes ran back to his position shaking his head. Rui Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute of the match, Zé Teive tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hernani Cunha saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. KASSENDA UNITED CLUB's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
