Spectators: 6935 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1935, VIP seats: 0) Huambo Futebol Clube's Fábio Galão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélio Carvoeiro in the 3rd minute of play. Alda De Matos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Godinho in the 6th minute of the match. Lourenço Abelaira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Alda De Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute of the match, Jorge Gonçalves tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fábio Galão saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 15 played minutes Huambo Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Quim Malafaia. In the 19th minute Lourenço Abelaira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alda De Matos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Lourenço Abelaira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alda De Matos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Edgar Nascimento charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgar Nascimento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd minute, Edgar Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 27 minutes, Henrique Jacinto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huambo Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrique Jacinto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28th minute Lourenço Abelaira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alda De Matos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hélio Carvoeiro hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Alda De Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lourenço Abelaira in the 30th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Henrique Jacinto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alda De Matos was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. 40 minutes into the match, Lourenço Abelaira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alda De Matos. Hove AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lourenço Abelaira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Alda De Matos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lourenço Abelaira in the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lourenço Abelaira was the one to do the kick off. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Henrique Jacinto sped through Hove AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alda De Matos. Henrique Jacinto struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Alda De Matos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huambo Futebol Clube. Henrique Jacinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alda De Matos having to interfere. Hove AFC's Alda De Matos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Hove AFC from getting a goal against them. Huambo Futebol Clube's Lourenço Abelaira got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Henrique Jacinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alda De Matos having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Huambo Futebol Clube left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hove AFC.
