Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hélio Teive started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Beaconsfield City booed when Petro de Luanda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastián Sampaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beaconsfield City's Simão Almeida couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 4th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Petro de Luanda. Custódio Gonçalves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregório Bouça read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes into the game, Beaconsfield City's Custódio Gonçalves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gregório Bouça made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Nito Curvelo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21stth minute of the game Nito Curvelo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Beaconsfield City's Hernani Cunha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Custódio Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Hernani Cunha managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Petro de Luanda's Rogério Dos Santos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 28 played minutes Beaconsfield City got a freekick which was hit by Luís Lourenço. With an all-out effort, Petro de Luanda's Hernani Cunha threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nito Curvelo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nito Curvelo in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hernani Cunha saved Beaconsfield City from getting behind. Rogério Dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Petro de Luanda's Rogério Dos Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albertino Jacinto hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 42 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Petro de Luanda's Rogério Dos Santos fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. If Hélio Teive had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hélio Teive came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Beaconsfield City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hélio Teive couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nito Curvelo to strike the kick off in the second half. Hernani Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Beaconsfield City's goal looked a bit too open when Nito Curvelo came free, but Hernani Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, one of Beaconsfield City:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Petro de Luanda a penalty, 79 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tiago Malheiro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Beaconsfield City's Hernani Cunha . 1-1. In the 86th minute, Simão Almeida had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. In the 95th match minute, Beaconsfield City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Lourenço to maneuver through the defense. If Nito Curvelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
