Simão Curvelo was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Gildo Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 10th minute, Zé Teive ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Simão Curvelo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 14 minutes into the match, KASSENDA UNITED CLUB's goalkeeper Hélio Malheiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tozé Mendes. Gildo Paes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Simão Curvelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tozé Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélio Malheiro having to interfere. In the 20th minute Gildo Paes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simão Curvelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Gonçalves got free with Hélio Malheiro in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 24 minutes into the match, KASSENDA UNITED CLUB's Gildo Paes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Simão Curvelo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mathæus Søegaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Zé Teive had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FC VALENTES booed when KASSENDA UNITED CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathæus Søegaard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simão Curvelo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gildo Paes went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. KASSENDA UNITED CLUB's Zé Teive got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 44th minute of the match Tiago Maurito sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hélio Malheiro skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, KASSENDA UNITED CLUB's Hélio Malheiro got control of the ball when Marcelo Gonçalves tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 47 minutes, Tozé Mendes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC VALENTES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tozé Mendes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
The wind increased when Tozé Mendes made the kick off in the second half. Marcelo Gonçalves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 54th minute, Tozé Mendes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hélio Malheiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. When FC VALENTES's Marcelo Gonçalves in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KASSENDA UNITED CLUB's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 61 minutes, Gildo Paes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 72nd match minute, FC VALENTES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Maurito to maneuver through the defense. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of KASSENDA UNITED CLUB booed when FC VALENTES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Almedia didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to FC VALENTES getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Vítor Russo hit a great ball. KASSENDA UNITED CLUB's Zé Teive shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 93rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Simão Curvelo but with some difficulty. In the 95th match minute, FC VALENTES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Rebello to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over KASSENDA UNITED CLUB could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC VALENTES throughout the match.
