In the 16th match minute, Taverham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. Taverham's Hipólito Rochedo got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute Rodrigo Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernani Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hernani Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrique Galão in the 24th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Beaconsfield City's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Galão came free, but Hernani Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodrigo Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hector Pereira hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, Taverham's Hipólito Rochedo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, Beaconsfield City's Miguel Gonçalves got a free kick in the 32nd minute. The Taverham fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Henrique Galão scored 0-2 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hernani Cunha , who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henrique Galão was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Galão in the 70th minute of play forced Beaconsfield City's goalkeeper Hernani Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Custódio Gonçalves notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Taverham's Ambrósio Jaka Jamba. Ambrósio Jaka Jamba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Henrique Galão took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Hernani Cunha to make any attempt to save it. After 91 played minutes Beaconsfield City got a freekick which was hit by Albertino Jacinto. Henrique Galão struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Hernani Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taverham. If Rodrigo Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Firmino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Hernani Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Taverham could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Beaconsfield City throughout the match.
