Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Toni Malafaia took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Moseley's Edmundo Abelaira got a free kick in the 5th minute. After having played for 10 minutes, Teodoro Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moseley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodoro Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teodoro Fonseca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tadeu Odemira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Tadeu Odemira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fábio Bastos went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teodoro Fonseca to strike the kick off in the second half. Fábio Bastos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tadeu Odemira having to make a save. If Teodoro Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moseley were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Ware AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Custódio Almedia took the corner. The corner ended in Custódio Almedia almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ware AFC's Tadeu Odemira did a great save.
