Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Toni Malafaia took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Zamora in the 2nd minute of play forced Ware AFC's goalkeeper Tadeu Odemira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tozé Varanda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Toni Malafaia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ware AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Toni Malafaia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Akwa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tozé Varanda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Tadeu Odemira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ailton Montinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeu Odemira having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Ware AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Tozé Varanda came free, but Tadeu Odemira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ware AFC's goalkeeper Tadeu Odemira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ailton Montinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeu Odemira having to interfere. Tadeu Odemira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Zamora, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tozé Varanda in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tadeu Odemira saved Ware AFC from getting behind. Tadeu Odemira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ailton Montinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toni Malafaia in the 45th minute of play forced Sagrada Esperança's goalkeeper David Akwa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tozé Varanda to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Sagrada Esperança was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Zamora to maneuver through the defense. In the 55thth minute of the game Tozé Varanda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ware AFC's Tadeu Odemira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tadeu Odemira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tozé Varanda in the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Sagrada Esperança's Tozé Varanda dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Ailton Montinho struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Tadeu Odemira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sagrada Esperança. When the final whistle sounded Sagrada Esperança left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ware AFC.
