Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Heitor Areosa got the match started through his kick off. If Marílio Amado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hurst Green's Heitor Areosa in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Holmfirth City's goalie prevented a goal. Hortêncio Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Heitor Areosa struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Toni Dos Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hurst Green. The supporters of Hurst Green booed when Holmfirth City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toni Dos Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toni Dos Santos didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 14th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heitor Areosa in the 17th minute of play forced Holmfirth City's goalkeeper Toni Dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrique Pedrosa came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Holmfirth City's Hortêncio Cunha . But to his dismay, Hortêncio Cunha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Carlos Zamora could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Toni Dos Santos made a huge save. In the 39th minute, Carlos Zamora fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Hortêncio Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique Pedrosa having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Holmfirth City's Toni Dos Santos got a free kick in the 47th minute. Hurst Green's Ubaldo Simões couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 48th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Holmfirth City. After the first half Holmfirth City were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hortêncio Cunha to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Holmfirth City booed when Hurst Green was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teta Tremura didn't get a good kick on the ball. When João Carlos De Matos fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Holmfirth City's protests and gave João Carlos De Matos a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Holmfirth City:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hurst Green:s goal. 61 minutes into the game, Carlos Montoia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Holmfirth City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hurst Green the free kick. The supporters of Hurst Green booed when Holmfirth City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Montoia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Hurst Green's Ubaldo Simões tried to score from far away in the 62nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Heitor Areosa made a precise shot to the right of Toni Dos Santos. Holmfirth City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Hortêncio Cunha had several of the Hurst Green's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 71 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-3 score and a disappointed Henrique Pedrosa as he didn't even see the shot coming. Heitor Areosa might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Toni Dos Santos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Heitor Areosa ran back to his position shaking his head. Hortêncio Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Heitor Areosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Toni Dos Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Toni Dos Santos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Zamora's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Heitor Areosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Toni Dos Santos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. After 92 played minutes Holmfirth City got a freekick which was hit by Toni Dos Santos. 98 minutes into the match, Hurst Green's Heitor Areosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Toni Dos Santos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Holmfirth City walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
