The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hurst Green's Heitor Areosa in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Hurst Green's Henrique Pedrosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Hurst Green from getting a goal against them. In the 48thth minute of the game Carlos Zamora who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Street Fighter's Zé Caneças was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Heitor Areosa made the kick off in the second half. Street Fighter's Lopo Amado got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 55 minutes into the game, Street Fighter's Teodoro Ericeira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henrique Pedrosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Zamora got free with Zé Caneças in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 59 played minutes Street Fighter got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Ericeira. Thanks to some nice moves Marílio Amado could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Zé Caneças however easily saved by the left post. Heitor Areosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Caneças having to interfere. Carlos Zamora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Caneças having to interfere. Lopo Amado kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Zé Caneças made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Zamora in the 69th minute. In the 70th match minute, Street Fighter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lopo Amado to maneuver through the defense. Zé Caneças made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Carlos Zamora sent off a good shot on target. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, Street Fighter's goal looked a bit too open when Heitor Areosa came free, but Zé Caneças reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Caneças was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Carlos Zamora capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Carlos Zamora really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. If Carlos Zamora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 83 minutes into the match, Hurst Green's Heitor Areosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zé Caneças narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 86th minute Heitor Areosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Caneças saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Heitor Areosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Caneças having to interfere. When Street Fighter's Pedro Preto in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hurst Green's goalie prevented a goal. Hurst Green were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Street Fighter to leave the ground with a draw.
