Edmundo Chafes in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Emílio Ramos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Teta Pedrosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio Ramos having to interfere. If Teta Pedrosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th match minute, Braunton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alão Areosa to maneuver through the defense. F.C.BARCELONA's Ambrósio Fernandes Braga got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Cláudio Fontão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emílio Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teta Pedrosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Emílio Ramos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 45th minute, Braunton got a penalty, and Fábio Moco placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Pedrosa was the one to do the kick off. Carlos Pedrosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Serineu having to interfere. After 61 played minutes, Braunton's Edmundo Freire shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emílio Ramos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Braunton reached it. After some careless play in the Braunton defense, Ambrósio Fernandes Braga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Serineu. The Braunton fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Serineu should have stopped the shot. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Braunton's goalkeeper Carlos Serineu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Teta Pedrosa struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Emílio Ramos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Braunton. After a defensive mix-up in Braunton's zone, Flavio Vila-Santa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Serineu came out of the goal and Flavio Vila-Santa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flavio Vila-Santa struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Carlos Serineu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C.BARCELONA. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Braunton! In the 79th minute there was a penalty for F.C.BARCELONA. Hipólito Curvelo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Carlos Serineu. 1-2. In the 88th match minute, Braunton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Neide Valies to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Braunton's Alão Areosa got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After recieving a nice pass, F.C.BARCELONA's Hipólito Curvelo tried to score from far away in the 93rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. F.C.BARCELONA had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
