Spectators: 8474 (Terracing: 6371, Seating: 1953, VIP seats: 150) Great Yarmouth's Eduardo Caneças started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Eduardo Caneças came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Great Yarmouth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Caneças couldn't finish the play. After 8 played minutes Street Fighter got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Duarte. Simão Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Zé Caneças tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Teta Mantorras fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Great Yarmouth's protests and gave Teta Mantorras a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Great Yarmouth getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Teta Mantorras hit a great ball. After having played for 18 minutes, Eduardo Caneças managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Great Yarmouth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Caneças was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Simão Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 24th play minutes Simão Nascimento shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Zé Caneças and just under the crossbar into goal. Simão Nascimento struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Zé Caneças didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Great Yarmouth. In the 35thth minute of the game Eduardo Caneças who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Street Fighter's Zé Caneças was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Street Fighter's Zé Caneças played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Clérigo in the 37th minute of play. Eduardo Caneças sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Simão Nascimento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Caneças was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 48th minute, Eduardo Caneças got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Pedro Preto made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Eduardo Caneças took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Zé Caneças to make any attempt to save it. After 66 minutes, Henrique Clérigo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Great Yarmouth and the Street Fighter players grew even worse after the yellow card. Henrique Clérigo kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Zé Caneças made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Caneças in the 69th minute of play. With a little luck, Street Fighter's Zé Caneças got control of the ball when Simão Nascimento tried to sneak it across the goal line. Toni Amado hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Teodoro Ericeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, Pedro Preto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eduardo Caneças received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Zé Caneças tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simão Nascimento got free with Zé Caneças in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 90 minutes into the game, Eduardo Caneças recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zé Caneças. Eduardo Caneças showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Zé Caneças made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Simão Nascimento sent off a good shot on target. In the 95th minute, Great Yarmouth's Eduardo Caneças ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zé Caneças. Zé Caneças yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. When the match was over Great Yarmouth could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Street Fighter throughout the match.
