In the 7th minute, Fedele Scirea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgar Jacinto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Edgar Jacinto stood somewhat misplaced when Fedele Scirea came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 11 minute. 15 minutes into the match, Set Fire's Fedele Scirea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgar Jacinto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Set Fire getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Rogério Pedrosa hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, Daniel Dziura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Fedele Scirea put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Edgar Jacinto. In the 27th match minute, Set Fire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Onas to maneuver through the defense. When Ambrósio Jaka Jamba came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Abbey Wood fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ambrósio Jaka Jamba couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Abbey Wood getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Miguel Pereira hit a great ball. After having played for 32 minutes, Magno Jaka Jamba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Set Fire's supporters crossed their fingers, but Magno Jaka Jamba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ailton Ermida hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the game, Set Fire's Fedele Scirea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edgar Jacinto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Ambrósio Jaka Jamba kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Fedele Scirea sped through Abbey Wood's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edgar Jacinto. With his leg Edgar Jacinto managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Set Fire's Fedele Scirea fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fedele Scirea in the 45th minute of play forced Abbey Wood's goalkeeper Edgar Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Fedele Scirea lined in a short shot 8-0 behind a frustrated Edgar Jacinto. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fedele Scirea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fedele Scirea in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgar Jacinto saved Abbey Wood from getting behind. After 53 minutes, Fedele Scirea made it 9-0 with a short kick to the right side. Abbey Wood's Edgar Jacinto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Fedele Scirea put it in 10-0 from a short distance just to the right of Edgar Jacinto. The supporters of Abbey Wood booed when Set Fire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olcay Tezkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fedele Scirea took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgar Jacinto. Edgar Jacinto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. In the 65th minute, Daniel Dziura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Luís Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fedele Scirea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Jacinto having to interfere. 83 minutes into the game, Ambrósio Jaka Jamba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Abbey Wood's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Set Fire the free kick. 84 minutes into the match, Fedele Scirea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgar Jacinto. Abbey Wood's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fedele Scirea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 14-0. In the 88th minute, Rogério Pedrosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 89 minutes, Daniel Dziura made it 15-0 with a short kick to the right side. Abbey Wood's Edgar Jacinto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Edgar Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fedele Scirea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Set Fire fans' excitement grew in the 97th match minute when Set Fire's Fedele Scirea looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 16-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Set Fire had played much better football throughout.
