Hector Dikaté came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Young Angola's Toni Gonçalves. But to his dismay, Toni Gonçalves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Hector Dikaté made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Almedia in the 25th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Custódio Duarte got free with 叶镇晨 in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Custódio Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hector Dikaté showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Quilempan, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After some careless play in the Whittlesey FC defense, Luís Quilempan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hector Dikaté. The Whittlesey FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hector Dikaté should have stopped the shot. Marílio Freire hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

Ailton Sá hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the match, Custódio Maurtio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hector Dikaté, 0-4. Whittlesey FC's Hector Dikaté played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Almedia in the 72nd minute of play. In the 79th match minute, Young Angola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Melo to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute Flavio Canales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 叶镇晨 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 叶镇晨 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Apalanga, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After a rather tough play, Young Angola's Afonso Melo got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Young Angola's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
