Wymondhaq's Rui Rebello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magno Jaka Jamba in the 14th minute of play. Rogério Pedrosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Rebello having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Set Fire's David Montinho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Daniel Dziura sped through Wymondhaq's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rui Rebello. A collision led to Wymondhaq getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Flavio Malheiro hit a great ball. Rui Rebello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Dziura in the 34th minute of play. Magno Jaka Jamba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Montinho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rui Rebello came out and tried to block the shot, but David Montinho slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Montinho in the 83rd minute of play forced Wymondhaq's goalkeeper Rui Rebello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Daniel Dziura reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rui Rebello. The goal made the score 0-11. After 90 minutes, Saúl Vasques mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wymondhaq and the Set Fire players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th match minute, Wymondhaq was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saúl Vasques to maneuver through the defense. David Montinho's shot from long distance in the 90th minute was not bad at all, but Wymondhaq's Rui Rebello knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of Wymondhaq:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Set Fire:s goal. David Montinho shot the penalty kick right outside the post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Montinho in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rui Rebello saved Wymondhaq from getting behind. When the match was over Set Fire could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Wymondhaq throughout the match.
