After a defensive mix-up in Set Fire's zone, Quim Quilempan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Correia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Montinho's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Montinho in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Correia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17th minute, David Montinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Delmiro Rosalio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Manarte in the 19th minute of play. After 22 minutes, Tiago Ericeira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olimpianos United and the Set Fire players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tiago Ericeira kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. With his leg Luís Correia managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Set Fire's David Montinho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Quim Quilempan fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olimpianos United's protests and gave Quim Quilempan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd match minute, Olimpianos United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quim Quilempan to maneuver through the defense. Magno Jaka Jamba might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Correia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Magno Jaka Jamba ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Olimpianos United defense, David Montinho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Correia. The Olimpianos United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Correia should have stopped the shot. David Montinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Set Fire left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Olimpianos United.
