Olimpianos United's Luís Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Teive in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Emílio Serineu notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Olimpianos United's Luís Correia. Luís Correia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Evaristo Manarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Flores, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodrigo Teive stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luís Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Teive, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 56 played minutes Olimpianos United got a freekick which was hit by Quim Quilempan. 57 minutes into the match, Olimpianos United's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Teive came free, but Luís Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Weaverham's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Dos Santos came free, but Emílio Serineu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Correia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the Weaverham players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
