The supporters of Futebol Clube do Porto booed when FC VALENTE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toni Quilempan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Toni Quilempan fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC VALENTE's protests and gave Toni Quilempan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Futebol Clube do Porto booed when FC VALENTE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toni Quilempan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hortêncio Dos Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastián Carvoeiro in the 14th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Futebol Clube do Porto's zone, Hélio Moco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Manarte came out of the goal and Hélio Moco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hélio Moco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodrigo Manarte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélio Moco in the 27th minute of play forced Futebol Clube do Porto's goalkeeper Rodrigo Manarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastián Boal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Rodrigo Manarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hortêncio Dos Santos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastián Carvoeiro in the 33rd minute. Ubaldo Meneses was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 35 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Lima Clemente was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Futebol Clube do Porto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC VALENTE the free kick. A collision led to Futebol Clube do Porto getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Rodrigo Lima Clemente hit a great ball. Rodrigo Manarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélio Moco, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. If Tadeu Canales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Futebol Clube do Porto's zone, Hélio Moco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Manarte came out of the goal and Hélio Moco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tadeu Canales struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Rodrigo Manarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC VALENTE. In the 47thth minute of the game Hélio Moco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Futebol Clube do Porto's Rodrigo Manarte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

But to his dismay, Hélio Moco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. FC VALENTE's Tadeu Canales got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Toni Quilempan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Manarte having to interfere. Hélio Moco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rodrigo Manarte having to make a save. A hard shot 89 in the game by Tadeu Canales from a close distance when the talented Rodrigo Manarte managed to make a qualified save. Futebol Clube do Porto's players were relieved. In the 93rd minute Sebastián Carvoeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hortêncio Dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Dos Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC VALENTE's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
