With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Bouça prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miguel Amado during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pedro Bouça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Guedes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Bouça stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flavio Clérigo's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Magno Bouça kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Pedro Bouça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Clérigo in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Guedes couldn't finish the play. Pedro Bouça acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 89th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fábio Gonçalves. Pedro Bouça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastián Jacaré in the 91st minute of the match. The FC VALENTES supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC VALENTES would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
