Spectators: 9371 (Terracing: 7030, Seating: 2155, VIP seats: 186) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paulo Dikaté started the match with the kick off. Pedro Polido didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Maurito went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Rolando Carvoeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Worcester AF getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Nuno Chafes hit a great ball. Paulo Dikaté fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Chorache having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Pôncio Abelaira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Desert Fury's Pedro Polido threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nuno Ramos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Desert Fury's Jonas Chorache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emílio Vasques in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Desert Fury's goalkeeper Jonas Chorache, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Worcester AF's Pedro Polido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Ramos in the 32nd minute of play. Paulo Dikaté took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonas Chorache. Jonas Chorache dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 38 minutes into the match, Worcester AF's goalkeeper Pedro Polido had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pôncio Abelaira. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Gonçalves in the 39th minute of play forced Worcester AF's goalkeeper Pedro Polido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the game, Pedro Maurito lined in a short shot 3-1 behind a frustrated Pedro Polido.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Maurito made a kick off. Pedro Polido came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Desert Fury's Nuno Ramos. But to his dismay, Nuno Ramos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Pedro Polido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Polido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Maurito, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Ailton Flores hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After having played for 65 minutes, Nuno Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Desert Fury's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nuno Ramos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 68 played minutes Worcester AF got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Dikaté. 75 minutes into the match, Desert Fury's goalkeeper Jonas Chorache had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Dikaté. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Jonas Chorache successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Pedro Polido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ailton Flores, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Pôncio Abelaira scored 5-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Polido, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Desert Fury players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
