Toni Boal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogério Tenória in the 44th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Ramos lined in a short shot 2-3 behind a frustrated Miguel De Matos. In the 48th minute, Rodrigo Ramos fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogério Tenória was the one to do the kick off. Ashton Under Hill's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rodrigo Ramos ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cláudio Mendes was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. If Carlos Dikaté had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ashton Under Hill getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Luís Firmino hit a great ball. During the 97th minute of the match Eduardo Guedes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Eduardo Guedes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The Bedale fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ashton Under Hill had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
