Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Rogério Lourenço fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ashton Under Hill's protests and gave Rogério Lourenço a yellow card for diving instead. Pedro Bouça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lopo Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Ashton Under Hill's Lopo Borges sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Bouça narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pedro Bouça stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lopo Borges's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 27th minute, Birkenhead's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rogério Tenória fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Pedro Bouça made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rogério Tenória in the 27th minute. Pedro Bouça came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Ashton Under Hill's Lopo Borges. But to his dismay, Lopo Borges quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Birkenhead's Pedro Bouça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lopo Borges in the 42nd minute of play. With a little luck, Birkenhead's Pedro Bouça got control of the ball when Rogério Tenória tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lopo Borges was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Rogério Lourenço shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Bouça showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lopo Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Pedro Bouça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lopo Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Bouça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogério Tenória, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lopo Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 74th minute, Magno Bouça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lopo Borges's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Bouça read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. In the 84th minute Lopo Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Bouça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Bouça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lopo Borges in the 85th minute of play. Rogério Tenória sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute of the match Rogério Lourenço shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Bouça showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Birkenhead getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Paulo Bastos hit a great ball. Lopo Polido kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Pedro Bouça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogério Tenória in the 95th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Ashton Under Hill players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
