In the 2nd match minute, Worcester AF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Neide Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felíx Regalado got free with Pedro Polido in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lopo Onas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pedro Polido firmly grabbed it by the left post. Hortêncio Malheiro hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Paulo Dikaté's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelo Boniel was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. In the 29th minute Emílio Vasques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Boniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After having played for 54 minutes, Viktor Wickander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ferryton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viktor Wickander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Polido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Wickander in the 57th minute of play. Felíx Regalado took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Polido. Pedro Polido dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Diamantino Flores charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diamantino Flores the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ferryton getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Diamantino Flores hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felíx Regalado in the 75th minute of play forced Worcester AF's goalkeeper Pedro Polido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Worcester AF's Pedro Polido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felíx Regalado in the 78th minute of play. Viktor Wickander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neide Nascimento's late challenge caught a Ferryton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Neide Nascimento helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Worcester AF's Neide Nascimento got a free kick in the 82nd minute. If Lopo Onas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Ferryton fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When the referee ended the match the Ferryton players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
