Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Custódio Ramos started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With an all-out effort, Worcester AF's Paulo Guedes threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Paulo Dikaté, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 8 minutes, Neide Nascimento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Worcester AF and the Henley on Thames players grew even worse after the yellow card. Neide Nascimento hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, Worcester AF's goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio Carvoeiro came free, but Pedro Polido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Henley on Thames's Paulo Guedes got control of the ball when Rolando Carvoeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 16th minute, Worcester AF's Emílio Vasques ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Paulo Guedes. Paulo Guedes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Pedro Polido came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Henley on Thames's Custódio Ramos. But to his dismay, Custódio Ramos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When Custódio Ramos came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Henley on Thames fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Custódio Ramos couldn't finish the play. Lourenço Mendes's late challenge caught a Henley on Thames's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lourenço Mendes helped the player get up and apologised. After 30 played minutes Worcester AF got a freekick which was hit by Lourenço Mendes. 31 minutes into the match, Custódio Ramos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Polido. Worcester AF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Custódio Ramos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 35 minutes into the match, Paulo Dikaté dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Paulo Guedes, 2-2. Henley on Thames's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Paulo Dikaté scored to the left of an out of position Paulo Guedes, making the score, 3-2. In the 43rd match minute, Henley on Thames was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heitor Freire to maneuver through the defense. Nuno Chafes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Paulo Guedes came out and tried to block the shot, but Nuno Chafes slotted it home off the left post making it 4-2 in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-2.

The wind increased when Paulo Dikaté made the kick off in the second half. Paulo Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Dikaté, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The supporters of Henley on Thames booed when Worcester AF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmundo Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Henley on Thames's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Dikaté came free, but Paulo Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Custódio Ramos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th match minute, Worcester AF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Dikaté to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Guedes came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Worcester AF's Paulo Dikaté. But to his dismay, Paulo Dikaté quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. In the 74th minute, Rolando Carvoeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th minute, Cláudio Carvoeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute, Paulo Dikaté hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Dikaté, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Paulo Guedes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Neide Nascimento went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. 87 minutes into the match, Emílio Vasques had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulo Guedes. Henley on Thames's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emílio Vasques was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-2. In the 93rd minute Rolando Carvoeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute of the match Cláudio Carvoeiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Polido skillfully saved the ball. Worcester AF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
