Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rodrigo Ramos started the match with the kick off. Toni Boal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emílio Vasques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Polido was a little too slow when Miguel Fontão got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 8th match minute, Worcester AF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Fontão to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Diamantino Bastos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Polido. That made the score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. Emílio Vasques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neide Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toni Boal having to interfere. Toni Boal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Dikaté's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Dikaté in the 26th minute of play forced Bedale's goalkeeper Toni Boal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, one of Worcester AF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Worcester AF. The referee gave Bedale a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rodrigo Ramos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Worcester AF's Pedro Polido. 3-0. In the 37th minute Rodrigo Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Polido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Worcester AF's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Fontão came free, but Pedro Polido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emílio Vasques to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Bedale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alão Ericeira to maneuver through the defense. Toni Boal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Dikaté, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bedale's Toni Boal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Bedale from getting a goal against them. After 58 minutes of play, Bedale's Diamantino Bastos made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Polido was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pedro Polido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 62 minutes, Diamantino Bastos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bedale's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diamantino Bastos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Polido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Ramos in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Diamantino Bastos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Polido was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. 69 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Ramos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Pedro Polido was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emílio Vasques received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Toni Boal came out and tried to block the shot, but Emílio Vasques slotted it home off the left post making it 7-1 in the 73rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Rodrigo Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bedale's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Ramos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Polido breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Bedale fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Bedale's Diamantino Bastos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Pedro Polido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diamantino Bastos in the 82nd minute of the match. If Rolando Carvoeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, Worcester AF's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Ramos came free, but Pedro Polido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Worcester AF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bedale.
