Ubaldo Galão did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Simão Bastos 11 minutes into the match. Simão Correia hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Sebastián Malheiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Simão Bastos. That made the score 2-0 in the 25 minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Carrapichel Angolano's Ubaldo Galão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Simão Bastos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Ubaldo Galão's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Simão Bastos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play.
