Miguel Da Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Tiago Ericeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Clube Recreativo Operário booed when Brierley Hill Uqewnited was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélio Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hélio Duarte hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Marcelo Mendes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiago Ericeira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. The throw-in from Pôncio Fernandes Braga in the 72nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Brierley Hill Uqewnited's Viveque Regalado. 74 minutes into the match, Clube Recreativo Operário's goalkeeper Avelino Novais had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Avelino Caneças. Avelino Caneças could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Avelino Novais made a huge save. Tiago Ericeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hector Godinho's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. In the 91st minute, Alda Chafes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Brierley Hill Uqewnited could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Clube Recreativo Operário throughout the match.
