Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Hector Godinho started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Avelino Novais came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by BASE ANGOLANA's Ambrósio Zamora. But to his dismay, Ambrósio Zamora quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A collision led to Clube Recreativo Operário getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Miguel Da Costa hit a great ball. After 11 minutes, Tiago Bouça mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BASE ANGOLANA and the Clube Recreativo Operário players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 11 played minutes BASE ANGOLANA got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Bouça. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Hector Godinho sped through BASE ANGOLANA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Teta Amado. 18 minutes into the game, Saúl Pepetela was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BASE ANGOLANA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clube Recreativo Operário the free kick. Marcelo Mendes, 19 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 25th minute, Alda Chafes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. BASE ANGOLANA's Vítor Dikaté got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Clube Recreativo Operário's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Ambrósio Zamora scored to the left of an out of position Avelino Novais, making the score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Bouça in the 33rd minute of play forced Clube Recreativo Operário's goalkeeper Avelino Novais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clube Recreativo Operário's Avelino Novais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Bouça in the 35th minute of play. With a little luck, Clube Recreativo Operário's Avelino Novais got control of the ball when Ambrósio Zamora tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th minute, one of BASE ANGOLANA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for BASE ANGOLANA. The audience was convinced that Hector Godinho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teta Amado was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tiago Bouça to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, BASE ANGOLANA's Ambrósio Zamora got a free kick in the 59th minute. Teta Amado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hector Godinho in the 62nd minute. BASE ANGOLANA's Saúl Pepetela got his second yellow card of the match in the 62nd minute. The referee ordered Saúl Pepetela off the ground. In the 68thth minute of the game Tiago Bouça who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clube Recreativo Operário's Avelino Novais was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Ambrósio Zamora came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the BASE ANGOLANA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ambrósio Zamora couldn't finish the play. 81 minutes into the match, Clube Recreativo Operário's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrósio Zamora came free, but Avelino Novais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 82 minutes, Diamantino Areosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clube Recreativo Operário and the BASE ANGOLANA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 82 played minutes Clube Recreativo Operário got a freekick which was hit by Diamantino Areosa. Clube Recreativo Operário's Hector Godinho got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
