The long shot by Maurício Mendes in the 12th minute really tested Teta Amado's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Manuel Flores could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Teta Amado made a huge save. In the 15th minute, Afonso Lando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute Tiago Bouça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Ericeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 minutes Carrapichel Angolano's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vítor Dikaté who took care of the corner kick. Vítor Dikaté made a great header on BASE ANGOLANA's corner, it was just that Carrapichel Angolano's Tiago Ericeira managed to reach the ball for a save. Ubaldo Galão hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind BASE ANGOLANA's goalkeeper Teta Amado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alda Manarte kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, BASE ANGOLANA's goal looked a bit too open when Maurício Mendes came free, but Teta Amado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Flores received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Teta Amado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ubaldo Galão was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 34th minute. Carrapichel Angolano's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Afonso Lando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teta Amado having to interfere. Ubaldo Galão had several of the BASE ANGOLANA's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 42 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Teta Amado as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 46th match minute, Carrapichel Angolano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emílio Odemira to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tiago Bouça to make the kick off. In the 57th minute Manuel Flores shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teta Amado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Hortêncio Areosa fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BASE ANGOLANA's protests and gave Hortêncio Areosa a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, BASE ANGOLANA's Hortêncio Areosa got a free kick in the 59th minute. Maurício Mendes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Teta Amado. BASE ANGOLANA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Galão in the 62nd minute of play forced BASE ANGOLANA's goalkeeper Teta Amado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alda Manarte's late challenge caught a Carrapichel Angolano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alda Manarte helped the player get up and apologised. Teodoro Jacaré kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Maurício Mendes struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Teta Amado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carrapichel Angolano. In the 68th minute Ubaldo Galão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teta Amado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alda Manarte kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the game, Afonso Lando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ubaldo Galão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teta Amado having to interfere. Carrapichel Angolano's Sebastián Malheiro pulled a muscle in his leg after 96 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Alda Manarte was shown his second yellow card after 96 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Carrapichel Angolano made a substitution. Emílio Matta replaced Sebastián Malheiro. In a very dangerous position, a player in BASE ANGOLANA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Carrapichel Angolano fully deserved thier win.
