Afonso Da Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Custódio Canales in the 32nd minute of the match. Luís Ermida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute, Custódio Canales ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Afonso Da Costa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The wind increased when Custódio Canales made the kick off in the second half. But to his dismay, Luís Ermida quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Nuno Curvelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Mantorras in the 67th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Edgar Mantorras managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sport Lisboa e BENFICA's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgar Mantorras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuno Curvelo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Afonso Da Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Custódio Canales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Luís Ermida came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Runcorn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Ermida couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute, Runcorn's Custódio Canales dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Luís Ermida let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 87th minute shot 0-5 at rihgt post. In the 92nd minute, Neide Dos Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
