Spectators: 8622 (Terracing: 6450, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 172) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fábio Malheiro started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Areosa in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simão Bastos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edmundo Areosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Simão Bastos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gregório Dikaté recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gregório Dikaté fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hortêncio Zamora having to interfere. Edmundo Areosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simão Bastos having to interfere. In the 20th minute Rodrigo Malafaia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simão Bastos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simão Correia during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 25 played minutes Prudhoe got a freekick which was hit by Simão Correia. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Edmundo Areosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Desportivo da Huíla's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Areosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simão Bastos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Simão Bastos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Malafaia in the 28th minute of the match. After 29 played minutes Prudhoe got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Bouça. Gregório Dikaté sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 36 minutes, Fábio Malheiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prudhoe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fábio Malheiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gregório Dikaté had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 40 minutes, Custódio Pereira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Desportivo da Huíla and the Prudhoe players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th match minute, Desportivo da Huíla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Custódio Pereira to maneuver through the defense. If Gregório Dikaté had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Desportivo da Huíla's goalkeeper Hortêncio Zamora had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gregório Dikaté.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo Areosa to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Gregório Dikaté got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 58th minute, Ambrósio Borges hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodrigo Malafaia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simão Bastos having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Gregório Dikaté shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hortêncio Zamora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hortêncio Zamora stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fábio Malheiro's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Prudhoe's goalkeeper Simão Bastos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Gregório Dikaté managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prudhoe's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregório Dikaté was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 85th minute, Gregório Dikaté left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Prudhoe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 89 played minutes Desportivo da Huíla got a freekick which was hit by Emirares Chivukuvuku. Hortêncio Zamora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregório Dikaté in the 92nd minute of play. Edmundo Areosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simão Bastos having to interfere. Prudhoe's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
