Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Runcorn's Custódio Canales started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Toni Akwa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nuno Curvelo. Runcorn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toni Akwa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Toni Akwa put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Nuno Curvelo. Alão Malheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Balduíno Flores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Custódio Canales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Custódio Canales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toni Akwa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Curvelo having to interfere. After 31st play minutes Toni Akwa shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Nuno Curvelo and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Carrapichel Angolano's Emílio Canales got a free kick in the 35th minute. The supporters of Carrapichel Angolano booed when Runcorn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alda Bastos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Flores received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Nuno Curvelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Curvelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toni Akwa in the 40th minute of the match. Nuno Curvelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toni Akwa, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Toni Akwa made a kick off. When Custódio Canales fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Runcorn's protests and gave Custódio Canales a yellow card for diving instead. Sebastián Malheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Nuno Curvelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Carrapichel Angolano's Afonso Lando got a free kick in the 57th minute. Toni Akwa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Nuno Curvelo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Toni Akwa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toni Akwa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carrapichel Angolano's Sebastián Malheiro got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Manoel Linhares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Balduíno Flores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Custódio Canales in the 86th minute of the match. Luís Ermida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Balduíno Flores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Custódio Canales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carrapichel Angolano played a much better game than Runcorn and deserved their victory. The Runcorn players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
